Social Media Break

One of the things I failed to realize when I started writing and publishing is the need to spend a lot of time on social media engaging with readers and potential readers. The most important thing to do is to build a name for myself, which is my brand. But that means I don't spend time on the work I have to do to be even more successful, writing. I need to spend more time writing and maintaining a home for my family. Little things get left for later because, let's face it, Facebook is a time suck. I have two new books in mind for 2016. Happy New Year

Happy New Year! I'm spending the day doing chores and reflecting on this new year and what I'd like for myself. There are so many personal and professional goals swirling in my little brain, I have yet to write them all down and make an action plan. Right now, they're just jumbled hopes and dreams. I know I have 3 books in mind. One is written and will be published soon. The other is in progress--the hope is to write an outline to organize all the things I want to answer from... the series. The third is a literary fiction book that I started years ago when my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. On the 7th marks the one-year anniversary of her passing, so I'll be a bit blue this month for
