All The Words...

Since publishing Flip Flop Love, I've been working on my writing plans for the rest of the year. With Summer vacation coming up for my three kids, I have to plan my day accordingly. I always forget that for almost three months of the year, I'll be shuffling kids to and from camps, making lunches, going to the pool, and still cleaning and organizing our home. But I'm excited for what's to come.

First, I'm working on a new story. I don't have a title, but if you've read The Boundless Series--Unbound specifically, you were introduced to these characters--Kent Brenner and Aria Tenor. I've had this storyline in mind since I first introduced Aria. She's much like Perla, but also has her unique--fiesty--personality. And Kent? Well, he's an Alpha male who wants to please as much as he wants to be pleased. And Aria pleases him.

My goal is to publish this story in June. I don't have a specific date or preorder because there are so many moving parts to self-publishing: cover, blurbs, editing, beta reading, etc.

In other writing news, I was nominated to write an article for a nonfiction legal anthology. If you've read my books, you know that I include some law in my stories (prenuptial agreements or lawsuits), so an essay on a subject I have experience with is right up my alley. But I didn't know I would want to write something that wasn't fiction. But I'm invested. I want to do a great job and hope that I can write a couple of hundred words a day--with research. And I've got to figure out how to do citations again.

Finally, I have a book that I started over a year ago. It's a new series. But I've decided to focus on the first book before even considering the storyline for the other two. The titles are picked out. The blurbs are not. The first book is so crystal clear in my mind, but the other two are just bits and pieces of possibilities. I can't share the first title because I haven't written the blurb or created a cover, but if you love Dark Romantic Suspense, then you'll love this one

Thank you for sticking with me as I continue to work toward my goal of self-publishing ten novels. Once I complete that goal, I will consider writing ten more in the genre. Then I really have to figure out the next phase of my writing career.

What would you like to read from me? Sweet romances? Amish Romances (I actually love Amish romance movies)? There are so many possibilities.
